Yale's Mini Museum
The Yale Expositor is proud to have on hands an impressive collection of Yale historical artifacts. It's been a long time dream to one day have a Yale Museum, unfortunately, that has not come to fruition. So, instead of waiting to share Yale's fine history, The Yale Expositor made a decision in 2014 to begin a 'Mini Museum' in honor of Art and Bonnie Brown and the love they had of their hometown and of history.
We started with hundreds of historical photos and also displayed many original typing and press work items from the turn of the century.
The Expositor also houses a turn of the century Linotype machine that is still in working condition!
Since 2014 our collection has grown with donations from local individuals who want to share their Yale artifacts with everyone.
The Yale Mini Museum now houses thousands of items from the 1800's up to the 1970's. We are very grateful for the participation from our community and invite you to stop by our office during business hours and take a peek at a part of Yale's history.
*The Yale Expositor is always accepting donations from the community. Come put your artifacts on display and do your part to perserve Yale's history.
